• Account Information: Email address and name when you create an account.
• Profile Information: Dietary goal, allergies, cooking skill level, age, gender, activity level, and budget preferences for meal plan personalization.
• Payment Information: Subscription transactions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not directly collect or store credit card numbers.

Information Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: App interactions such as meals viewed, swaps made, and features used.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
• Log Data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time and date of visits, and other statistics.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Meal Plan Generation: Your dietary goals, restrictions, and preferences are sent to our AI engine (powered by OpenAI) to generate personalized meal plans.
• App Improvement: Usage analytics to understand feature engagement and improve the app experience.
• Communications: Send daily meal plan notifications, important updates, and (with your consent) promotional emails.
• Customer Support: Respond to your inquiries and provide assistance.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may collect information:

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in these circumstances:

• With service providers who assist in operating our App (as listed above), under strict data processing agreements.
• If required by law, regulation, or legal process.
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of FocusPlate Studios, our users, or the public.
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (you would be notified in advance).

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes described in this policy. When you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.

Our website may use essential cookies for functionality. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising. The App does not use cookies.
